I live close to this company's office so I made an appointment and went in to see them. I was completely impressed by the polite and friendly staff and had a coffee in the reception area while they valued my gold. I was very pleased with the offer made and the money was in my account by the time I got home. Recommended!
I did not want to post my jewellery so I asked for a home visit. I was called on the phone and given the home visit prices, a bit less than the website but still better than I could get locally. They came to see me on Saturday because I work and it was really interesting to watch them testing and valuing. I accepted the offer and got cash there and then.

I sent off my gold at the post office at lunch time yesterday, received a telephone call this morning to confirm the price (slightly less than on the calculator because of some stones) and by midday the money was in my bank account. You just don't expect service like that these days. Brilliant!

I have used this site twice now and I am so impressed that I told my mother about UKSG but she will only deal face to face where money is concerned so we arranged a home visit for her. A very pleasant man visited my mother within 2 days of us calling and paid a great price for my mother's old trinkets and stuff that she hasn't worn in years. To be honest I had several concerns about using an online service. However, as promised on the web pages, I was telephoned the very next morning after posting my old gold, and had an offer explained to me by a helpful gentleman. The funds were transferred to my bank account before lunchtime that day. An efficient and friendly service, and much better prices than those other companies advertised on tv!
Anyone who may be a bit unsure about sending gold away don't be!! I sent my gold on the Wednesday and the money was in the bank on the Thursday plus I got £200 more than what I had been offered from a high street business.
